DECEMBER 26, 2019 PRODUCTION
As part of its annual Kwanzaa show onstage Atumpan has several workshops to help cast members bring their best thespian to the stage. Last year's guest facilitator was Filmmaker Clyde Santana, a Norfolk Arts Commissioner and film maker. Harambe for the Holidays is the largest Kwanzaa celebration in Hampton Roads that Atumpan Edutainment produces each year for the general public to enjoy at no cost. It is a way for people to understand and enjoy Kwanzaa in the same way that they understand the other end of the year celebrations, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year's. The appealing part of the show is the community aspect as it brings together numerous community businesses, actors, and organizations in the true spirit of Kwanzaa.
