VSO Play-In

LOCATION: Scope 201 E Brambleton Ave, Norfolk, VA 23510

There are 3 parts to the Virginia Symphony Orchestra commUNITY Play-In and Sing a Long and Atumpan is facilitating the unity segment of the event.  Atumpan Dance Theatre will do this by 

• Providing streamers/flags for other participants to create a "whirlwind" during a story that will be told
• Wearing capes and masks (provided by Atumpan upon arrival to the Scope)
• Helping to keep a steady rhythm with music or voices

WHAT YOU DO TO SIGN UP

• Register (your group is Atumpan)  
• Show up at the Scope at 3:00pm on Sunday, September 8, 2019

ABOUT THE EVENT

Join the VSO in a celebration of brotherhood, unity, and peace in remembrance of 9-11. Created in 2017 in the wake of the violence in Charlottesville, this annual event embraces our community’s cultural richness and diversity, uniting people of all ages, faiths and backgrounds through participation in music, dance and spoken word.
