About the event
The tradition of elders, political dignitaries, and Atumpan coming together to open the annual Umoja Festival happens on Friday, but the festival is all weekend long through Sunday. Atumpan has been a part of the festival since 2010. Here is the weekend schedule:
- Friday, May 24, 2019 6pm-11pm *Atumpan 5:30pm-6:15pm
- Saturday, May 25, 2019 12pm-10:30pm *Atumpan 1pm & 2pm
- Sunday, May 26, 2019 2pm-7pm *Atumpan 3pm & 4pm
Following Atumpan is a line up of bands so bring your lawn chair!
