About the event

As a part of the 757 Unity Drum Circle, Corey and LaQuita Marie builds an experience with the participants through "Changing the Narrative of Normal" activities during rhythm breaks. Changing the Narrative of Normal uses music, theatre, storytelling/story sharing, literary, and visual arts to break down the barriers of miscommunication that lead to the marginalization of people with different abilities.

Here are the highlights:

Experience not necessary (whether you drum, dance, or watch, you do not need prior experience)
Participation is optional (some people enjoy the breeze while watching)
2:00 pm Yoga
3:00 pm Drum Circle

Please bring your own mat, chair, instrument,

supplies and necessities to ensure proper social

distance protocols.
