About the event
Each year, on the day after Christmas, Atumpan Edutainment produces Harambe for the Holidays; a Kwanzaa show that is presented as a stage play on December 26, 2019. Actors, dancers, musicians, and inexperienced people are encouraged to audition. No experience required, just have a willingness to learn and a team spirit.
GENERAL SHOW INFO:
This is a stage play with intermission. The first half is an African folktale and the second half is a different folktale. Kwanzaa principals are incorporated into the script and various music and dance styles are included (African, hip-hop, modern).
The full production of the show at the Kroc Center is on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at 1:00pm and 6:00pm.
A daytime performance at the Kroc Center is on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 10:00am for school groups and community groups.
Additional preview performances will be announced and do not include the full cast.
